One thing worth knowing if you are in a small studio: the minimum billed size is 500 square feet, so a 400 square foot unit is priced as 500.
Recurring cleaning costs less, starting from your second visit
Most of our apartment clients book on a recurring schedule. Here is the part we want to be upfront about: your first clean is charged at the regular rate. The discount starts on your second visit and applies to every visit after that.

Biweekly is the most common choice for apartments in this city, and the math is why. At $177.61 every two weeks, you are paying about $10 more per month than a monthly clean while getting twice the service.
One condition worth knowing up front: if you skip visits and the gap grows, the next clean may be charged at the higher rate. Biweekly means no more than three weeks between visits. Monthly means no more than five.
What’s included
Our Complete Home clean follows a set checklist, so you get the same result every visit rather than whatever the cleaner had time for. It covers four areas: the kitchen, the bathrooms, the bedrooms, and your common areas.
In each one we work through the surfaces you see and touch. Counters, sinks, fixtures, mirrors and glass, appliance exteriors, floors, and a general tidy of the space. In the kitchen and bathrooms that means the areas that actually get dirty rather than a wipe-and-go.
A deep clean covers the same rooms and goes further into the detail work: baseboards, furniture surfaces, and the build-up that a regular clean maintains rather than removes. If your apartment hasn’t been cleaned professionally in a while, that’s usually the better starting point.
There are also things we don’t do, and we’d rather say so than have you find out on the day. Anything that needs heavy furniture or appliances moved, anything requiring ladders or reaching we can’t do safely, exterior work, carpet steam cleaning and specialty floor treatments, and stains that have set into paint. Those limits exist to protect your home and keep our team safe.
If you want something outside the checklist, we also offer customized cleaning at $75 per hour per cleaner with a three-hour minimum. That option suits clients who want us to focus on one or two rooms, clients whose priorities change from visit to visit, and clients who would rather give us their own checklist and direct the work themselves.

The pet hair fee is a flat $25 per visit on Complete Home cleans, not per pet. It covers the extra time pet hair adds, which in a smaller apartment is real.
First-time cleans
If your apartment hasn’t been professionally cleaned in the last 30 days or so, we recommend adding a First-Time Clean for $99. It buys the extra hours needed to get everything to a baseline. After that, regular visits keep it there.
You aren’t required to take it. If you’re unsure, book without it and we’ll talk through whether it’s worth it.
The part most cleaning companies skip: strata and building access
This is where apartment cleaning in Vancouver actually differs from cleaning a house, and it’s the part that causes most of the scheduling problems we see.
1. Parking. Many downtown and Yaletown buildings have no visitor parking, or paid-only. If paid parking is the only option, we add a $20 fee. If you have a visitor stall or a guest pass we can use, tell us at booking and there’s no charge.
2. Building access. You don’t need to be home. Most of our apartment clients aren’t. The common options are leaving a key or fob with the concierge or front desk, giving us a door code, or using our key courier service for $25.
3. Concierge sign-in. If your building requires the front desk to authorize service providers, let them know we’re coming. A quick note to your concierge saves the team standing in a lobby.
4. Arrival window. Our team may arrive up to 30 minutes before or after your scheduled start. If your building access depends on precise timing, factor that in.
Handle these once at booking and they generally never come up again.
Moving out of a Vancouver apartment
Move-out cleaning is a separate service with its own pricing, because the work is different. Vacant units get cleaned to a deeper standard, and the oven, fridge, and inside of the cabinets are all included by default.

If you’re timing a move-out clean against a new tenant moving in, book earlier than feels necessary. Vancouver’s standard end-of-month turnover means the last few days of every month fill up first.

- Carpet cleaning. We don’t do it in-house. If you need it, we can introduce you to a carpet cleaner we trust and coordinate the timing.
- Anything unsafe. We follow WorkSafeBC guidelines. That rules out heavy lifting, unsafe ladder work, hazardous waste, pest infestations, and bodily fluids.
- Perfection guarantees. What we do guarantee is this: if we miss something, tell us within 24 hours and we’ll come back and fix it. That’s the promise, and we keep it.
Why our prices look the way they do
We pay our cleaners a living wage.
That has a cost, and you can see it in our pricing. It also has a benefit that matters more than the difference: our turnover is low. The same trained people come back to your apartment instead of a new crew every visit. In a small space where someone is handling your things, knowing who’s coming through the door is worth something.
We’re also independent and owner-run. When something goes wrong, you’re dealing with the person whose name is on the business.

A few practical things:
- A credit card on file is required to confirm any booking. We don’t accept cash.
- We place a temporary hold on the card up to 48 hours before your clean, based on the estimated cost.
- The final charge goes through after the clean, and can differ if the condition of the unit or the services added change.
- Cancellations need 24 hours’ notice. Less than that may mean a $79 fee. Same-day cancellations and lockouts are charged at the full amount.
- Last-minute bookings carry a $79 fee.
