How Much Does Office Cleaning Cost?

Office cleaning in Vancouver isn’t priced the same way residential cleaning is. There’s no formula you can plug your square footage into and get a number back. The cost depends on what your space needs, how often you need it, and the level of detail you’re expecting. The only way to get an accurate quote is to walk the space together.

Here’s what goes into office cleaning pricing and what to expect from the process.

Frequency plays a bigger role in cost than most people expect. Our post on how often your office actually needs to be cleaned is worth reading before your walkthrough if you’re still working that out.

Why Office Cleaning Is Always Quoted

Every commercial space is different. A small marketing office with a handful of desks and one bathroom has completely different cleaning needs than a multi-floor law firm, a busy daycare, or a medical clinic. The scope, the frequency, and the number of cleaners required all vary significantly.

Because of that, we don’t quote commercial cleaning over the phone or by email. We need to see the space first. A walkthrough gives us what we need to put together an accurate, fair quote. It also gives you the chance to show us exactly what you’re working with.

What We Look At During a Walkthrough

When we visit your office, we’re assessing several things.

We look at the current state of the space. Has it been cleaned regularly by a professional service, or has maintenance been inconsistent? Areas that have been neglected take more time and effort to bring back to standard on the first visit.

We assess the level of detail you’re expecting. An office that needs to look like it came out of a design shoot every week has different requirements than one that just needs to be reliably clean and sanitary. Both are valid. They just cost differently.

We figure out the scope of work: which areas need to be covered, how many bathrooms, whether there are break rooms, reception areas, or specialty spaces that need specific attention. From there, we can estimate how many cleaners are needed and how long each visit will take.

We also use the walkthrough to make sure we’re actually the right fit for what you’re looking for. Not every commercial space is a match for what we do, and we’d rather be upfront about that than take on a contract that doesn’t serve you well.

What Drives the Cost Up or Down

The biggest factor in commercial cleaning pricing is the level of detail you need.

You can see the types of spaces and industries we work with on our commercial cleaning services in Vancouver page.

An office that requires thorough, consistent attention to every surface, corner, and high-touch area (the kind of clean where staff notice a real difference every time) will cost more than a space that needs basic sanitation and tidying. That’s not a judgment on either choice. It’s just what the work requires.

Frequency also plays a role. A space cleaned weekly develops a baseline that’s easier to maintain each visit. A space cleaned monthly takes more effort to bring back to a consistent standard, which affects time and cost.

The size and layout of your space matter too. More square footage, more bathrooms, and more common areas all add to the scope. If your office has specialty areas (server rooms, medical or treatment spaces, kitchen facilities), those require specific handling and affect the overall quote.

What Happens After the Walkthrough

Once we’ve seen the space, we’ll put together a clear proposal that outlines what’s covered, how often, and what the cost is. There are no vague estimates or surprise charges. You’ll know exactly what you’re getting before you sign anything.

If you want to get that process started, contact us or call 778-786-8500 to arrange a walkthrough. We typically move quickly once you reach out.
